History

The Adolf and Christine Godager Homesite is one of the Norwegian immigrant properties in the Norse Historic District near Clifton in Bosque County, the largest Norwegian settlement in the American Southwest, established from 1854. It was documented in the 'Norwegian Settlement of Bosque County' thematic nomination and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
