History
The Brogdon Farm is one of the historic farmsteads of the Norse Historic District near Clifton in Bosque County, the largest Norwegian settlement in the American Southwest, established by immigrants who began arriving in 1854. The farm is among the properties documented in the 'Norwegian Settlement of Bosque County' thematic nomination and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
