The Roma-San Pedro (Roma-Ciudad Miguel Aleman) International Bridge is a suspension span across the Rio Grande, designed by engineer George Cole and opened in 1928 to link Roma, Texas, with San Pedro de Roma, now Ciudad Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas. It is the last surviving suspension bridge on the Rio Grande and was taken out of vehicular service in 1979 when a replacement opened nearby. It is listed on the National Register and designated a National Historic Landmark.
