History

This three-story masonry commercial block was built in 1923 for about $15,656, its third floor serving as the meeting hall of the local Woodmen of the World lodge (organized 1908) until 1975 while businesses leased the lower floors. Praised in its nomination for a strong vertical expression, it was renovated in 2002. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
