Casino Hall stands at the northeast corner of Farm and Fayette streets in Bastrop and was designed by architect Alf Jung. Rather than a gambling house, it served the community as a social and civic gathering place, functioning over the years as city hall, headquarters of the volunteer fire service, and later a senior activity center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
