The house at 1301 Hill Street is one of the historic residences documented in Bastrop's National Register of Historic Places listing of December 22, 1978. It contributed to the 'Historic and Architectural Resources of Bastrop' nomination, an unusually broad listing that added about 131 buildings to the Register at once.
