History

The Waco Drug Company building at the corner of Fifth and Mary Streets in downtown Waco was constructed in 1925 as the headquarters of a regional wholesale drug company. The four-story building with a full basement faces east on Fifth Street and is detailed with a raised concrete base, multi-pane metal ground-floor windows, and a pedimented parapet at its central pavilion. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
