Known as "Casa Grande," the William Curry and Olive Price Holden House at 3107 20th Street is regarded as the first adobe house built in Lubbock. The Pueblo Revival home was constructed in the 1930s after Olive Holden fell in love with pueblo architecture, and it belonged to William Curry Holden, a Texas Tech professor of history and anthropology who became the founding director of the university's museum. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
