This riveted Parker through-truss bridge carries US 90 (former State Highway 3) over the Colorado River just east of Columbus, the Colorado County seat. Texas Highway Department engineers used their standard T22-200 truss design, with exterior spans each 150 feet long, and the bridge serves as a gateway between downtown Columbus and Interstate 10. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
