The Peder Dahl Farm lies southwest of Clifton along FM 219 in the Norse Historic District of Bosque County, part of the largest Norwegian settlement in the American Southwest, which took root beginning in 1854. The farmstead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 22, 1983, as one of the properties in the 'Norwegian Settlement of Bosque County' thematic nomination.
