History

The Bartholomew Manlove House stands at 502 Elm Street in Bastrop and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. It is a contributing residence in the 'Historic and Architectural Resources of Bastrop' nomination and was documented in survey photographs held by the Portal to Texas History. The house is part of the residential district that gave Bastrop its standing as the 'Most Historic Small Town in Texas.'
