History

Kermit's oldest home began as a Carpenter Gothic ranch house that cattleman W. H. Seastrunk dismantled and reassembled in town in 1910. Later known as the Medallion Home, it was preserved by descendants of the W. E. Baird family and furnished with period pieces, including the 1915 Victorian wedding dress of Kate Lovett Baird.
