From the intersection of US 290 and SH 6 in Hempstead, travel north along SH-6 3.5 miles to FM 1736, turn left (west) onto FM 1736 and travel east 3.2 miles to a metal gate along the south side of FM-1736, 250 feet west of the Rock Island Baptist Church building. From that gate, travel approximately 800 feet south along a two-track road/cattle trail following the eastern property fence then bear southwest for 560 feet, and the cemetery is in a grove of trees with pasture on the east and west sides.
