From the Titus County courthouse take Madison Street south for 0.3 miles to the intersection with Ferguson Road (US 272). Turn left on Ferguson and proceed east. Ferguson then changes designation to Texas 49. After 8.2 miles there is currently, as of this writing, a private drive on the right. The remains of the old Traylor home is marked by a standing chimney. The cemetery can be found in the woods about 150 yard northeast of the old homestead.
