William Lee Holman (1863-1932) moved to Corsicana in 1908 to become the manager of the Southland Cotton Oil Mill. He built this home in 1914,and it remained in his family for eighteen years. The classical revival style house also exhibits late Victorian and Prairie School elements. Occupied in later years by other Corsicana residents, the home's association with the Holman family reflects the city's early growth as a cotton center. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1983
