History

The John Ruckman House stands in the ghost town of Helena, Karnes County, one block south of and within sight of the historic 1873 Karnes County Courthouse. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and is preserved by the Karnes County Historical Society alongside the old Helena courthouse.
