History
Crowell Cemetery was established for Crowell, the seat of Foard County, when the Crowell Townsite Company set aside land and additional acreage was later acquired from J. F. Witherspoon. Burials date from 1891 to the present and number in the thousands, and the cemetery holds a Historic Texas Cemetery marker.
