The Martin Building is one of the downtown El Paso commercial buildings attributed to the influential firm of Trost & Trost, whose reinforced-concrete business blocks defined the city's skyline in the early 20th century. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing part of El Paso's historic commercial architecture.
