History
The Giles Cemetery in Delta County recorded its first burial in 1887 and served the community of Giles, which had faded to a ghost town by the 1970s. Holding veterans of several wars among its roughly 200 graves, the cemetery received a Historic Texas Cemetery marker dedicated in 2017.
