The McGilbert House in Lufkin is a one-story vernacular Victorian frame residence built in the 1880s as worker housing associated with the Angelina County Lumber Company and the company town of Keltys. With lap siding and a shed porch on wood posts, it was recognized as a rare surviving example of early company housing in Texas when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
